Ceci and Thomas have learned numerous chiropractic treatment techniques with which to treat a wide variety of neuromusculoskeletal complaints.

Myofascial Release Technique/Soft Tissue Mobilization:  Deep trigger point therapy aimed at a specific muscle in order to release tension or an adhesion.

Graston Technique/Gua Sha Therapy:  Similar to Myofascial Release Technique, but utilizing additional therapeutic instruments.

Activator Method:  A Chiropractic adjustment tool that delivers an impulse directed at a specific area.  This is a light force technique, especially when used with babies and children.

Kinesio Taping/Medical Taping/Athletic Taping:  For patients with sports injuries, postural syndromes, or muscular trigger points; helps to activate/deactivate certain muscles to promote healing.

Neuroimpulse Technique:  A gentle technique used to treat children which involves light, finger-point pressure.  This technique is a form of full-body assessment which involves specific, low-force treatment that aims to reduce abnormal tension throughout the entire spinal system, including the extremities and head.  The goal is to release trapped, unresolved patterns of dysfunction in the body to facilitate reintegration of the nervous system.  Release of tension in the body system can lead to profound neurological changes with attendant benefits to overall health.

B.E.S.T. Technique:  Mainly for patients presenting with psychosomatic complaints or those needing extra attention for underlying emotional problems and disturbances in energy that cause the body to become physically unbalanced.  Works on the basis that certain recurring thoughts and emotional patterns create similar physical neurological patterns which lead to repeated pain syndromes.

Pelvic Blocking:  Light force treatment for pelvic/low back disorders.

Thompson Technique:  Medium force technique for spinal disorders.

Flexion/Distraction Technique:  Light force technique for low back disorders (especially disc herniations, disc/spinal degeneration)
